Divine apathy : ウィキペディア英語版
Divine apathy

Divine apathy is the doctrine that the divine nature is incapable of suffering, passivity or modification. This doctrine is a common feature of Platonist, Aristotelian, and Stoic philosophical theology and seems to have heavily influenced post-Biblical Jewish, Christian, and Muslim thought. On the other hand, the Bible depicts YHWH as capable of grieving, for example:
"And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart." (Genesis 6:6 King James Version)
"And then יהוה sighed as He has effectuated the ʔǟḏǟ̖m in the land, and then He travailed (Himself) to His heart." (Genesis 6:6 Scriptures of the Faith Once Delivered)
